Hi there
I've just started having panic attacks in the last 3 weeks, I work an hour & a half away from home & my panic is worse on the tube/bus, I have to get to work tomorrow, I'm having such a lovely weekend but also I'm so worried about work tomorrow, I have found that listening to music helps, does anyone else have any advice? I'm taking propranolol.
Thankyou
Roxanne

Hi Roxanne.

I am sorry you are going through a tough time with panic attacks.

Try to set off a bit earlier than normal and try to get a seat. Keep telling yourself that you will be ok and count down each minute and think after each minute passes, you are nearer to your destination.

I have suffered from panic attacks using public transport. I have just about given up hope on travelling out of my area, but know avoidance isn't helping either.

Do you see the same people when you travel, who you could talk to, before getting on the tube or other mode of transport?

Good luck.
