I really need to visit the docs to get my dry mouth checked my tongue almost feels rough like I've burnt it on food but I havnt , it also has a crack when I fold it on half , I went to the docs 11 1/12 weeks ago for
Something unrelated is it to soon to visit again ? How often is classes as normal ? I feel like my doctor thinks I'm a hypochondriac :(

I see my cancer team every three months until next year where God willing, I'll still be cancer free and see them every 6 months. I see my cardiologist every six months and my GP every 6 months. So if all goes well, I'll be seeing doctors twice a year.. But then I have health issues.....

A normally healthy individual sees their doctor for a check up/physical once a year, more often if you have an illness that requires attention outside of a common cold.

Hi Reb
I suppose It depends what you class as normal, if you feel the need to see your Dr no matter what the reason then make an appointment, in this country our health care is free sort of we do pay nhs through our contributions of course but you have a right to go anytime.
Some with HA to every week for reassurance so 11.5 weeks sounds not too bad.

11weeks ago! Oops. I've been to the gp so much just in the past few months. As Alexandria said, if you feel you need to go then go, it's your right x

Between 2010 and up to late last year I must have been to the GPs practice about 40 times including walk in centre, hospital for scans, three times to see specialist etc.
2012 and 2013 were my worst time

This year I have been to see the GP once because I needed to ask him to refer me for a brain scan, I have NF to required (well advised) to have a brain scan every 5 to 10 years, sooner if you get regularly headaches, throwing up in morning etc.

I would go day if I could, but getting an appointment can be pretty tricky some days.
