Hi guys,

I'm yet to Google my question and thought I'd speak to you guys first as a means of trying to combat my anxiety.

I'm at university and in my final week of exams, and my flatmates happen to wwant to live like animals. Fortunately, pretty much every night for the past ~6 months I've been able to stay with my girlfriend and her flatmates.

Today I decided to clean up our kitchen. It was foul. We all helped, but the bins were full of juice/slime, the whole place stank.

I have a question:

Could I become ill from smelling the stuff in our kitchen as we tied bags up/emptied bins etc? Im worried that bacteria particles have gone up my nose and trickled down my throat. I really don't want to get ill during my last week of exams.

Thank you in advance, honest advice please!

Other than making you nauseous and possibly making you toss your cookies, no, you cannot become "ill" as in need antibiotics catch a disease ill from a foul smelling kitchen.
