Hi again guys,
Another HIV concern
So I had just used the loo and after having wiped I noticed some bright red streaks on just one piece of toilet paper. I checked to see whether or not this could be my blood by wiping again, but no, I'm clean and there are no marks.
Have I possibly just wiped HIV + blood up in my anal area? I know HIV can't survive outside the body for long but if it is wrapped up in layer upon layer of toilet tissue then could this effectively act as a barrier from the environment - thus preventing the HIV from dying? Do I require PEP medication?
Please help, feeling nervous and I have my last exam tomorrow adding to the stress!
