What should I do when having a panic attack or if I have symptoms leading up to a panic attack?

You should take a slow deep breath in through your nose, hold it for a count of 5 then let it out slowly and smile :) Keep repeating this. Don't be afraid of a panic attack, it can't harm you.

Don't try to fight it, you will only make it worse. Just accept it and invite it to do its worst. The breathing exercises should work though if you keep doing them as soon as you feel a panic coming on.
