I have the odd ectopic beats over the years and sometime it feels like I am having runs of them.by the time I get my hand to my wrist to take my pulse to see what's going on they are gone........these "runs" are very short and infrequent ( about 3 to four time a year)
on the rare occasion I have managed to "catch them" the pulse is regular but faster (about 150 BPM or so) and ALWAYS stops within 5 seconds.
I am 59 with no heart symptoms to speak of and had a clean bill of health 2 years ago,bloods, heart xray, ecg, echo and holter.......this was to check on my ectopic beats
I just worry that these runs might be v tach rather than SVTs
anyone any thoughts?
