Ladies please - period and bowel movements

Hi ladies,

Just a quick question so I don't freak out. But do you get blood on your stools on your period or get it mixed up with period blood? I don't know if it's actual blood or period blood.

I know this issue has been torturing me for a long while now and yes I am going for a colonoscopy next week which isn't helping my anxiety levels but at least I'm doing something! The colonoscopy is to investigate some bleeding when I wipe sometimes. But I thought I'd ask this question about the period as this added stress is not helping me!

I'm doing all the right things I hope just need some advice ... words. Anything.
