Hi ! I'm Sarah, and i've never done anything like this before.

Four months ago i woke up in the middle of the night with an incredible sensation of a head rush mixed with lightheadedness and burning.
I thought i was dying... i ran into my living room and demanded my husband who was up with his friends needed to take me to the hospital.
Long story short, i've been to the emergency room 7 times in 4 months...
i've had TWO MRI's of my brain and an MRa of my brain.
An MRI of my neck
about 7 X-rays of my chest
about 5 EKG's.
one echocardiogram (sp?) an heart ultrasound basically
3 cat scans of my stomach
seen about 7 specialist and have seen my physician about 25 times.
I'm going CRAZY

I'm weak all the time...dizzy alot... i feel just , out of it. Sometimes like it's not even me! I don't remember what it's like to wake up ONE day without feeling very strange.i get shortness of breath alot, and stomach aches all the time! I can't even put my finger on it.
the ONLY thing they have found is like SLIGHT arthritis inbetween C1 and c2. Nothing else. I see a chiropractor and a massage therapist and it helps a bit but the pressure in my neck and head never ever goes away. i feel off balance and a sense of swaying sometimes.. ( i've already had my ears checked!)
I just can't believe that all of this could be coming from somthing funny in my neck being all wierd!!!

If this is anxiety in my body, i have never in my life experienced such things!
and i've NEVER EVER been stressed. i have a great life! Nothing is wrong with it i am SO happy! so, why can't i get my mind around the fact that i'm ok....
that i'm not going to die.
Life has become hard.....
i just want to feel normal again!

im WAY to young to be dealing with this crap

Hi Sarah

A Big Warm Welcome to the site.

Sometimes anxiety can come out of nowhere - you are not the first person to experience these sensations without any reason why.

You have seen the health professionals and been checked out well, and so now you need to find comfort and acceptance. Please check out our First Steps page here First steps for overcoming Panic and Anxiety (http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/NMPcms.php?nmppage=firststeps)

Even if you have never felt stressed or had childhood worries lurking in your mind, food stimulants or recreational drugs can have an adverse effect. A healthy diet is good for the brain too.

Remember, you are not alone and you will find good people here.

Take Care,

Ray

Dear Sahara...... are you in Florida by any chance? Could be allergies. Could be nothing. As the person said before me, get on a good diet without cafine or MSG. See what happens over a week period. Only thing I can say is I'm sorry you're feeling the way you are. Hope it goes away. Mine didn't for forty some odd years.
Good luck,
Rose

Hi Sarah,

Welcome to the site. I'm fairly new to the site and have found it informative and interesting.

Sorry to hear about your symptoms. My C.P.N ( head nurse) told me at the start of my symptoms that good things as well as bad things can cause stress or anxiety. I was in much the same boat as you were happy and just pottering along then BAM!!!

Just remember that you are normal and you'll be okay.
It might just take some extra work.

Look after yourself
