Today is one month already that I lost my job and I have started to have this horrible anxiety that I can not control,:weep: I am taking my medications in the same way for almost 4 years so I don't understand why now seems like they are not working at all !!. I have this unpleasant feeling of frustration , I really don't know what to do?

I was on prozac for four years. I went through a stressful situation and suddenly it felt like it wasn't working anymore.

The doc always told me to come off for a while at the end of each course just so when you restart it later it continues to work. I never wanted to so stayed on same thing for four years without a break.

Have you seen your doc and told him ?

Thank you so much Oosh:yesyes: for you words I think that's the only thing that I can think of now,i am just going to stick to my medication like always , my md is not too good so I know that if I ask her she are going to send me to specialist that that will take for ever and at the end of the day i am going to end up dealing with a new doctor playing with my medication dosage!! and that will be worst, i been there before and i definitely don't want to go back so ,,,yeah thank you for your support.
also i want it to add, that the meds that i am taking now are pretty strong meds (Seroquel xr 400 ml) and (Effexor 300ml) so i am kind amazed!! how they stopped working out of the blue? :weep::weep::weep::weep::weep: ok i guess i said all that i want it to say ,,,,,,again thank so much.

I think it's wrong to think that medication will stop anxiety full stop. The anxiety you're feeling is very normal, somebody who did not suffer from anxiety who was in your position would feel the exact same as you. We forget that some anxiety is normal, no matter how unpleasant it feels.
