I woke last night to a totally numb arm and hand - most of the feeling rushed back after shaking it out - but the next day it's still a bit stiff and has a tingly, "circulation returning" sort-of feeling.

Has anyone else had this last into the next day? I'm getting worried.

Was it really numb or just tingly? The main difference being that you can't feel a numb limb at all, whereas if you touch a tingling limb you will still feel the touch. If it was indeed numb, well, I know sleeping on it can do that and it isn't dangerous. I have done that to myself many times and it always eventually stopped being tingly. Some days limbs just want to be non-cooperative, I think!

Hi vivi

I've had this many o times even on the side l don't lie on, i explained it to my Gp and he took my BP, blood tests and done little exercises with me I had to lock arms and pull him towards me, smile, scrunch my face up etc... All came back normal and put down to anxiety disorder

The mind is the most powerful weapon their is and in our case it's on full automatic fire.

Hope you're feeling better

Petesy :hugs:
