Dry eyes and mouth

I've posted about this before, but I'm at my wits end.
I have very dry eyes and mouth.
Ii have a hospital appointment in a couple of weeks, to see whether I have sicca syndrome.
Had blood tests at dress that we're negative.
Very stressed all the time , and not sure if this is making the dryness worse.
Has anyone had dry eyes and mouth with stress.
Really feel that I'm going bad.
Have tried drops for my eyes but they make them worse!!

Hi PB,

No one here is medically trained to even venture a guess. Is this a different battery of tests for this? Certainly stress can cause very real physical symptoms and anxiety can definitely cause dry mouth and eyes.

Can I ask is your mouth actually dry or just feels dry ? My dentist told me my mouth wasn't dry even though it felt dry x

hi, pb!:welcome: sorry you feeling so poorly! are you on any type of medication. meds can certainly dry out all of your membranes.

I have dry eyes had dry eyes for 14 months. I take drops daily

Have had dry eyes and mouth for eight months, plus muscle pains and now a burning face.
I have a GP appointment on Wednesday. I know this can't all be stressed and I'm scared.
