Hi Donna,

Short answer........No

Long answer.....it all really depends what you are talking about and how your attacks mainfest themselves.

Welcome to NMP, there will be lots of stuff in here that will help answer your question better. Support, advice and friendship are here for you.

Hi Donna,

You can CONTROL them. I'm a bit pessimistic about saying "yes, they do go away", because I honestly get them for no reason. I could be at my happiest, then all of a sudden I get an attack. I don't think I'd be "cured" without some form of medication whether it be medicinal i.e. anti-depressants, beta blockers, or alternative i.e. Resuce Remedy, Kalms, etc.

I think if there was a cure, then there would be a lot less people on this site. Just talking to people who are in a similar situation is a cure in itself for me because it assures me that I'm not alone in this.

Take a good look around the site and I'm sure you will find lots of useful tips.

Hi Donna, its hard to say, like some people get them all the time, some people have made full recoveries and some get them now and then.Im talking about panic attacks.Iv had them for about 12 years maybe more.I managed to go a year without one,but then they started again.
You will get lots of help and support on here.;)

Donna,

You can get rid of them and I feel that if you think you are stuck with them, you will be!

Do you know why you have these attacks? Talk them over with somebody or on here and read our First Steps page as well.
