Whacked my head

Please help!

I whacked the top of head on the sun visor when getting into the car, about an inch from my hairline. It wasn't even that sore but I am freaking out about a brain injury!

How hard a hit would cause damage? It was just over an hour ago, when would you feel symptoms???

Impossible.

Sun visors are padded plastic around a light metal frame. You could headbutt it and dent it. Your skull is much tougher.

People black out at moment of impact if whacked with a solid metal bar or other object. I have whacked my head so hard against a piano I felt my brain buzz and my eyes blur. And then I was fine.
