So I just got a new bike today. My dad got it ready and stuff... so I get on it and I pretty much lose control of the thing and put a scratch on my dads car, I ride away thinking my dads gonna kill me. So I come home, and my pulse is going about 175 to 200... is that dangerous? Should I not ride my bike because of this??? :/

It's fast but it's not dangerous.

You probably need to sit down and take a few deep breaths for several minutes as my guess is it's just panicing plus exercise.

If it stays like that and doesn't come down then you need to get some medical advice, but even then it's unlikely to be anything serious. Sometimes it just happens when you're prone to anxiety.

After exercising, that's an ideal heart rate for you to improve your cardiovascular fitness, thereby protecting your heart in the long run.
