Pain above left breast, under collar bone.

I've been suffering with anxiety for about 3 years now and am on 10mg of citalopram daily.

I thought I had things pretty well under control, bar the usual day to day stuff. But tonight I've got the sharpest pain above my left breast, under my collar bone and it's knocked me for six.

It's been there for about 2 hours now, I've tried rubbing it and stretching and bending, thinking it might be trapped wind that would shift but it hasn't worked.

I've started to let it freak me out and I'm convincing myself there's more wrong with me than a simple pain.

Has anybody out there experienced similar and can reassure me before I lose my mind?!!

Yes, I had it last week and it was trapped wind. Took hours to go and no amount of rubbing, stretching or anything else helped me. In fact it moved about a bit before it went. It is very painful, but it will go.:)
