Does anyones heart pound all day all night. Seems like it does even when I'm not all freaked out.

Hi,
I was like that for a while. Do you do any breathing exercises? I was told by my therapist to breathe in upper chest, breathe in belly, as much air as you can get in, count to four when you are done it. It helps to put your hand on your belly to be sure you're breathing in right. Then reverse it chest out, belly out. She said to practice four time a day. It's hard at first, it gets easier with practice. She said the point is to be breathing in as deep as you can. It tricks the body into thinking your fully relaxed. Try not to strain when you do it. It does help a lot for me anyway, and it makes me feel more in control. That's a big thing for me. To feel in some control, I know what my body is doing and I am actively doing something about it.
