first scan. panicking

Hi ive been away from here for some time as things have been good.
Now I'm 6+6 pregnant after our first cycle of ivf worked. We were totally over the moon. Now my anxiety is taking over again. Later today we have my first scan to check if the pregnancy is healthy & if we are expecting multiples.

I feel like I've lost control, sometimes I fall asleep & wake up in panic. Our hospital is an hours drive away for fertility appointments which I find so stressful.

I'm so tired of being anxious when I know I'm so lucky to be pregnant we were trying so long. I just wish I could stop the worry.

Hi Cat It is understandable thay you should be anxious after waiting so long for a baby. I think that once you have had the scan and see your baby (or babies) and know that everything is okay then you will feel better. I had problems having children so my pregnancies were an anxious time but now have 3 children (the youngest is 24!). Let us know how the scan goes and hopefully you can soon start to enjoy the pregnancy x

Just a little update.

Pregnancy has gone well & our little boy is due next week. I'm terrified about being in hospital etc. But hopefully it'll be a few days. I'm so excited to meet him & bring him home.

I'm really grateful for this site
