I am not quite sure what it is, I think it is an ulcer under my tongue (which I guess is the salivary glands).
It is really small and yellowy in colour. It is not painful at all which is why I am freaking out as I remember somewhere reading that if you have an ulcer which isn't painful it may be cancer.
I have also never had one here before :(

I imagine there may be someone on here who has had this also and can possibly give some reassurance? I'd be so grateful! if it is still there in 3 weeks I will ring my dentist but until then I will be so anxious :( I think my dentist is getting a bit sick of me coming in asking him to look at all the different lumps and bumps in my mouth!

If it's still there in three weeks or more it should be looked at. Perhaps more beneficial than having the dentist looking at lumps and bumps in your mouth would be a professional to speak about all those thoughts in your head :shades:

thanks, yes I have had some CBT a while ago but sometimes I still get bad days where I cannot rationalise well!
getting into meditation too, to cope.

Hey Ellie,

Try not to worry about ulcers, like the above said, get them checked out if they are there after 3 weeks or more, I have also had ulcers which are not painful and go down within a couple of days, nothing to worry about. The past 3 weeks I am getting Ulcers all in my mouth and it is down to stress, when we are stressed we are more prone to infections etc, Corsodyl mouthwash is the best for ulcers, maybe try some of that :yesyes:
