I've been taking seroquel for my anxiety attacks for quite some time now but lately my anxiety has been at an all time high so i've been taking my seroquel but i'm wondering if the more I take the seroquel, the more my body becomes dependent for it? I don't want to think that because i'm having an anxiety attack that I HAVE to take it because it might be getting that way and even though i'm on a low dose, I don't want to become dependent on it.

Hi,

I have taken Quetiapine as it's called in UK. No, it does not have addiction issues, I stopped taking mine with no problems at all.

It can be taken daily or as needed, I would not worry about the long term with this, if it's helping you now then wonderful.

Its not technically addictive in the same way that nicotine is, but if you stop it too quickly you could suffer from discontinuation syndrome - which can be similar to your original condition, but magnified.
