Hey guys, decided to kick the drink and had a dry month... Here's the anxiety clause though, I lost about half a stone and so (obviously) I.now think there's something terribly wrong with me.
Anyone else lost weight while abstaining?
Yes - I've done a dry January for the past couple of years and always lose quite a few pounds... I can assure you that it's completely natural... As I'm sure you know, alcohol (especially beer) has an unbelievable amount of calories in it... Going out for a few pints is like eating several dinners! Therefore, if you cut it out of your diet, you're bound to drop some weight :)
