When I went to my ex-doctor for heart palptitations, he prescribed me with protonix. I took it for about 3 weeks then quit because of the side effects and I didn't believe I had any issues with my stomach as I rarely have heart burn and was only having palpitations before taking it.
Well after about 4 days after stopping i started having weird issues with my stomach. It's loud, its been upset, I've had heart burn. It's done this for a few days now.
Is this a side effect of not taking protonix anymore? I also stopped cold turkey because I was only on it for 3 weeks.
I've never had stomach problems in my life until AFTER protonix.
Will this go away soon?
