Pc virus!?

Hi earlier one was on the laptop and I downloaded some stuff from sims 3 store and without realising then googled and downloaded some content from what I thought was sims store but was not and it gave me a virus :(
Pc health check came up a programme which tells you hav a virus then makes you pay out for something you don't need.
So I removed it from control panel uninstall programmes.
I have avg and maleware bytes installed.
But I'm scared what if they took money? Can't check bank until tomoz...

I had bought sims points earlier on and i put my bank details in that website to buy points for the sims game..
I'm so scared they may have found them :(

If it was a secure site where you used your bank details then your bank details are safe.

Then accidently got some content of sims resource which I reckon gave me the virus.
I removed pc health kits. Am now doing a full avg scan. Will it be I'm after that ? :/


I'm so scared ill go check the bank tomorrow and it'll be overdrawn. Do I go to the bank then ?

Avg finding lots of threats but managing to resolve them on it

I had 208 in bank Friday
Spent 8
In shop
10 out cashpoint
And 48 on sims points
But I'm left with 132 and that doesn't add up?!
It could be Spotify or netflix but I'm still scared

Go and print off a mini statement or don't you have online banking?

I found out what it was eventually...

Will have to use this as an example next time I get anxious about the same thing.
