I haven't been on here for a while as the say it never rains but pours. My poor daughter has gone from one NHS doctor to another who just say she has stress and anxiety and want to shove anti depressants down her. She managed to get a job in Recruitment but after three months after literally fainting with chronic migraine had to resign. She is 25,bright and intelligent yet has no life and has developed my anxiety symptoms which in turn has made me more stressed and anxious and you can imagine how hard it is for my dear wife.

By chance and being recommending we were introduced to Dr.Amir and I enclose his link.http://dramir.com/index.php It is an expensive treatment based over two years but having had an initial consultation with him and my daughter performing various body movements and especially breathing he is is no doubt she has TMJ.She is too ill to work and having never claimed any form of disability or unemployment benefit, does anyone know who she could phone to see what entitlement she is allowed. She has payed NI contributions of over 26 weeks in the last year through her initial part time job in retail and then in recruitment.

We have also learnt that my daughter in law has breast cancer which has spread to the lymph glands and she is having chemo but no operation. We live in hope and she has a two year old only child.

My own health has suffered and I have urinary problems yet two doctors just dismiss all my symptoms as nothing to worry about.I had a blood test for everything and countless urine tests but nothing shows up.I am lucky to get three hours sleep a night and can hardly concentrate on anything for more than a few minutes.

There are other personal pressures mainly financial and I was a strong person but quite frankly just can't cope anymore.

The thought of going to hospital scares me no end being agoraphobic and suffering with heightened GAD, even for further tests as I might have to go private as well..

I am sorry to say the NH doctors I have seen are totally useless, don't have the time or inclination to understand all that I suffer. I get things like "don't worry about your daughter" or" so what if you pee every half an hour when anxious" but we all know our own bodies and I bottle it all up.Even my wife doesn't understand how I suffer.I am at my wits end.

Hi Ricardo, it's great to see you posting :yesyes:

Sorry to hear of your Daughters illness and the stress that you're having to deal with right now.

I have sent you an email with information about benefits.

Dr.Amir's link looks very interesting and I shall have a good read of that.

Thinking of you and sending love and hugs. :hugs:

Welcome back, Ricardo

It's a shame that we're meeting again under the circumstances but you're in the best place to vent and to just talk. I hope it all works out for you all soon.

Thank you all for your support and advice.

I do urge everyone to read the link I posted which basically proves that TMJ can cause so many health problems which often lead to anxiety. The jaw can basically throw an imbalance to so many parts of the body but it is not something that is apparent to many doctors and specialists.

I have noticed after being off the site for 4 months that so many of the regulars don't seem to be posting anymore.

We are all built differently and with all this shite going on I just withdraw which is just the way I am.

Vent is a good word Rennie :)

Hello Ricardo,

I am so sorry to hear about your daughter. It must be a big stress for you, and something everyone on NMP hope works out okay.

As for the urinary problems, have you tried changing the pH of your urine? You can make it acidic by drinking cranberry juice or some other juices, or alkaline through effervescent salts (I think)(or just plain bicarbonate of soda).

One or other of those may make you feel more comfortable, and they don't need a prescription.
