Hot fingertip?

Hi,
Has anyone experienced this sensation? The past few days my left first finger has been burning at the tip. I'm not in full blown panic (yet), but I can feel myself becoming more anxious. Just wondering if anyone knows anything/had the same?

I've had fingertips go numb. It sounds like nerves.

Have a good look at the fingertip, if is red as well as hot then it could be a cellulitis infection so see your GP as soon as possible and they can treat it with antibiotics.* If it is not then as already said it may just be nothing but the nerves.

* Please don't google this as it will come up with the worst case scenarios, such as diagnosing you with MS, which you don't have. That's the problem with American Medical websites my GP says, she says that they always start off with the most deadly and rare illnesses first which will cause anxiety.

I have had this! My little finger tip just burned like it was hot, on and off for a week or so. Weird!!! I think I mentioned it on a post on here a few years ago. :)
