Woke up with a severely "dead" arm. No tingling, no sensation at all.
For a minute or two, I had to use my other hand to physically move the fingers
on the "dead" arm's hand. It went away after several minutes, but I then
felt as though I was going to lose all motor function in my entire body. It wasnt
a typical scary, or panicky feeling, but more matter of fact. I wasn't even
particularly nervous about it, which, in turn, gave me anxious feelings
that "something was happening to me for 'real'", specifically because I wasn't
"Panicky". I have suffered anxiety for about 5 years, mostly health fears.
At one point I was prescribed a medication (don't remember what) that is
also used for depression, but after taking it for a couple of days, I literally
felt crazy, so I stopped. Since then, I just combat my episodes with logic, prayer to God,
and faith in my anxiety history-"I didn't die last time this happened!" Anyway,
I am very happy to have found this site, as it comforts me in knowing that so
many others have experienced the same types of issues as I do, and we are
all still here! This most recent episode was a lot different to me, and it does
have me rattled a bit....any comments? Thank you all so much!

Hi Welcome to NMP :) It sounds to me like you have just been resting awkwardly on that arm and this has happened to me before.
