Low rumble in ears?

Hi. I have massive health anxiety which has given me a lot of grief over the past six months.

One of the things I have to deal with is tinnitus.

However, I just had a symptom completely different to what I'm used to! So you can understand my panic. Typically, I'll have a bit of an earache, or I'll hear bells. This was a low, vibrating rumble. It lasted for a few seconds and was terrifying. It didn't hurt, but it sounded like a motor in my ear. Anyone know anything about this?

all part of tinitus, my old chap! Its a bit like a recalibration of you ear. Longest I've ever had it 20 seconds are it goes without any other issues. I just laught at it, when I have to say what did you say!!
