Hi, I'm in the middle of recovery and have read the nothingworks.weebly.com website a few times. I find myself needing to refer back to it some and it has gone away. The site says under construction. I know through google that the author has been on this site several times. Does anyone know if it will be back up?

I remember reading this site a long time ago after I forgot my login and meaning to post the link to the article as it was requested, a few others requested a quick scan of this doc, I did a search on google for any link for this site referencing that article and posted, I didn't want to start a new thread so I just chose the top one.

I read this about 2 years ago, it's brilliant, thanks Chris :)

I read this yesterday and it certainly made me think about my anxiety differently... I would recommend it

Good to see you Chris! How are things and how's the research going? Always happy to read anything new you've been working on :winks:

Nothing works is still a favourite of mine if I'm ever having a difficult time. We can all end up back in Alcatraz now and then

Hi Pipkin. Hope you are well.

I've been busy, but mainly busy on rugby forums.

Got a dog and learned about goldfish. Been reading lots of random things.

You been up to much?

Chris,

Work, work, moved to the other side of the country so that I could do even more work! Doing great in general, just experiencing life's usual ups and downs at the minute. Nothing unusual about that in my opinion. January's always a tricky month for me - I need more sunlight and my brain can't be fooled by light boxes, unfortunately.

Seems we've been up to similar things.
Dog(s): check. 2 mad hounds that keep me sane
Goldfish: check. 3 sane goldfish that drive the dogs mad
Rugby: is that the sport with the wonky ball and the overgrown posts?

I reread your letter a while ago and it always makes me smile because you put into words (very well) what I've spent a lifetime doing but I didn't realise what I was actually doing. If there's just one thing people should take from it is to pretend and fool your mind. It always reminds me of the quote from the Assassin 'I never did mind about the little things' (RIP Ann Bancroft!). I know that Nikita was better but the French quote doesn't spring to mind so easily...

Look after yourself and don't forget that you can now have hours of fun with jokes about dog flatulence :whistles:

It was probably this one:

There have been a few others in the past 6 months I've seen.

You still have your dedicated thread and it does have the new blogpost address on as it's how I got to your letter. If people look on your post history they should easily find it as you deleted most of your posts hence it sticks out.
