Hi,

I've had this one lymph node behind my right ear for about 6 weeks or so. I got it before my cold and when my allergies got kinda bad.

It wasn't overly large when it first came but I had no idea what it was. Over the past few weeks it has gotten a lot smaller and a lot softer. I can also move it about with my fingers.

I just wanted to make sure that this was all normal? It's very small (0.5cm) and doesn't cause any pain. I have no other symptoms. It's just irritating me because I've never had one before, or at least that I know of.

Any help?

Lymph nodes are part of out body, they're there to do a job and they do it well. What you describe sounds completely normal.

My son has lymph nodes you can feel behind his ears and it's normal. The doctor assured me several times.
