horrible back pains

I haven't had a fantastic back, but its never hurt this badly. I woke up today and I couldn't hardly move. It hurts in my lower back so bad! Anyone else just woken up randomly with this?

I'm currently seeing a physio as I have suffered with my lower back for years. Worse on waking and bending. Today he has done some manipulation and there was a lot of clicking going on. Last night I had a winded sort of ache higher up? Have you ever had that? I think anxiety can cause all sorts of aches and pains. Does it get better once up and about and moving / distracted?

Just FYI and update. The exercises my physio gave me have really helped and I've only been doing them for a few days. I actually slept through til 4.30 am. Well worth you looking into seeing if physio would help you too.
