Newbie. GAD and fear of medication

Hi all.

I am new here. I have a GAD but it is pretty cool most days and I have dealt with many things I would not have thought possible in the past but I still suffer horribly with a fear of medication. I get the sweats if I have to take a paracetemol!

I joined today because I have been prescribed some drugs that are really scaring me and so wanted to share with others!

I suffer with taking medication too, I can't even take my iron supplement! :doh:

Hi there,
I cant offer advice, but I've just joined here, after having to have a tetanus shot and spending a week googling to see how soon it would cause a fatal adverse reaction! After banging my head against a wall for so long with loved ones who just cant get their head around the irrational way my thoughts escalate, I realised that it takes people who actually understand to help each other through this kind of thing....
So as I said, I havent any advice, just wanted to say I understand, and Hi :)
