Is my hero.
Anyway, he suffered panic attacks for quite a while and even wrote a song about it (below). He's fully recovered now, and I find him very inspirational, and it shows that everyone can be affected by this.

Gas Panic

What tongueless ghost of sin crept through my curtains?
Sailing on a sea of sweat on a stormy night
I think he don't got a name but I can't be certain
And in me he starts to confide

That my family don't seem so familiar
And my enemies all know my name
And if you hear me tap on your window
Better get on yer knees and pray panic is on the way

My pulse pumps out a beat to the ghost dancer
My eyes are dead and my throat's like a black hole
And if there's a god would he give another chancer
An hour to sing for his soul

Cos my family don't seem so familiar
And my enemies all know my name
And when you hear me tap on yer window
Yer better get on yer knees and pray panic is on the way

Cos my family don't seem so familiar
And my enemies all know my name
And when you hear me tap on yer window
Then you get on your knees and you better pray
Cos my family don't seem so familiar
And my enemies all know my name
And when you hear me tap on your window
Yer better get on yer knees and pray
Panic is on the way
Panic is on the way

Gosh I never knew that - he certainly looked relaxed enough on Parky the other week.

It makes you wonder just how many celebrities suffer doesn't it. I remember hearing Linda Lusardi once say she did. Also I've been watching the gardener Monty Don in his programme on gardening as a rehabilitation exercise to help drug users, discussing his battle with depression every year. Most interesting!

"Supposing a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?" said Piglet.
"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.

Hi

I seem to remember that Kym Marsh from Hearsay and Corrie has P/A's as well as Nicole Kidman. I bet there's loads of famous people who have them and we just don't hear about it.

I thought he might. Heat magazine were talking about what a diva he is recently, how he sometimes says he'll meet fans and then refuses, and gets annoyed at the paparazzi - it occured to me that it might be anxiety. Poor guy, getting slated for something he can't help!

Judy Finnegan suffered badly with panic attacks.

( it was in Good Housekeeping mag and my ma-in-law sent it to me - bless her, she thought it would cheer me up)

Noel gallagher also a hero of mine, his panic attacks were drug induced, same as mine to begin with after the 1st and only time I ever took drugs I had my first panic attack and I've always regretted it
