I've been in a bit of a state this last week after seeing my dad hospitalized with a minor heart attack last Wednesday, and ever since have been screwing myself up with tension, feeling anxious and panicky and consequently having burning in the stomach and lower ribs, feeling nauseous and experiencing a general sense of unease.
However, this morning as I was getting ready to go to work I got a momentary sharp stab in one of my ribs - made me go hot and cold and thought for a moment I was going the same way as my dad. It was just momentary and the panic subsided after I had a stomach seltzer - but it has left me feeling quite anxious and uneasy this morning. I do have costocondritis and suffer with fibromyalgia but I suppose all the anxiety I have had the past week has made it flare up.
Does anyone else react this way to crises and experience similar?
