I have been coughing up wads of mucus once or twice a day for a few weeks maybe longer. I haven't been very worried about it until my mother who is an herbalist told me that that wasn't normal and that she was a bit concerned. But I have read that anxiety can cause an overproduction of mucus and I have been dehydrated as well. So I was wondering if anyone else experienced this and I it's something I should be concerned about. As before I feel perfectly fine and don't exhibit symptoms for any illnesses. The only problem is the mucus. I am 15 years old in perfect to near perfect physical condition.
