Metal taste in mouth

Hi all,

I think this has been posted about before... I've been getting a metallic taste in mouth off and on for awhile now. I am on Zoloft which I hear can cause this - but it's noted as a rare side effect.

Trying not to panic that it's something very serious...

It's a symptom of anxiety listed in the Symptoms link on the page. I found it one of the more unusual physical manifestations of anxiety. It's also a very rare side effect of Zoloft (.5% of people). Being that you've been on it for some time and not had this before, I would lean heavily to it just being anxiety related.
