Hiya,
I found a support group to go to when i was around 16yrs old, but it was lead by a first timer and she only started with 2 of us, then the other person dropped out and it was jus me! so it didnt help at all and put abit of a different view on support groups than i originally had.
I would really love to give it another go, but cant seem to find an established one. does anyone know of any support groups for agraphobia/emetaphobia/panic attacks in the Stockport, Cheshire area?

Hi Claire,

Try this list

Hope you can find a group for yourself. I run a group down here in Surrey. but the numbers can vary from 0 to 6.

Hi Ray, do you know if any other organisations run support groups for anxiety sufferers? Woking is my nearest with your organisation and that's too far for me

I noticed you mention support groups, perhaps you can also consider visiting a therapist or suchlike to address the causes underpining the symptoms you are getting.

It's just that rather than focus on getting support, which would infer longer term help until you are perhaps able to consider change, move directly to seeking that change.

Just a thought
