I had a doctors appointment last week to pick up the results of a scan and blood test - if I'm honest the dr was gorgeous and I didn't stay long after he said you had a scan, asked why I'd had a scan and said it was clear and showed me that my bloods were 'fine' - I feel like I should have questioned him more on the ins and outs of the results... would he have told me if something was amiss?

Isn't that their job? ;)

Doctors can lose their medical license for failing to mention something being amiss. I think you're fine :)
