Pain in thigh?

I have no idea what's going on with my leg, but after a few hours ago there has been this slight stabbing pain in my upper right thigh along with tightness in the general area. I am worried it could be a blood clot! I have had this pain before but it usually subsides, and I am hope it does this time. I am 18 and overweight, and saw a cardiologist for an Echocardiogram, EKG, and 24 hour holster. I am also on Lopressor due to the stress of a healing wound.

Is this something I should get worried about? My leg doesn't feel warm, but it only ever effects the right thigh.

Sounds very much like a muscle strain though. Is it swelling?

No swellling. No warm feeling either. The pain has gone away, but this has happened before. Ever since I had the holter my anxiety has been up and at the attack again. Now my foot and face have begun to twitch.
