Palpatations with Panic

Hi Guys,

Yesterday had a crap day, ended up at Emerg.
Was hyperventilating and tight chest, heart rate high, palpitations etc.... in other words a Panic attack!
Anyways had all the tests, blood works, ECG etc and all fine.
The Dr gave me a beta blocker and it helped straight away.
He said i can take one when wound up and my Psychiatrist had mentioned this before also. I get palpitations every now and then, does anyone else?

Palpitations are a rather frequent subject here. There's a forum dedicated to it in the "Symptoms" section. If you hit search at the top of the page, you'll find hundred if not thousands of pages on the subject. You're definitely not alone as it's a very common anxiety symptom.

Palps are fantastic, they're the best indicator your problems are rooted in anxiety. :)
