Hi guys.

Still worried about my ears. They feel full and squelch when I swallow, and I have ringing that varies in intensity. I have had all the tests, so no longer worried about tumours etc, but I seem to be fixating on the ringing since I googled and saw it can 'drive people mad'. This has become an anxiety thought that sends an adrenaline rush through me and is keeping the anxiety going.

I have read that many people suffer from this, it can be longterm and they get used to it after a while, but I can't seem to shift the anxiety over it.

Anyone have anything useful/soothing or reassuring to tell me? I just want to get back to normal.

I have daily some weeks. I get ear pressure during bouts of high anxiety as well. It use to drive me crazy when I was trying to sleep until I bought a fan.

I've always had it, mine'd pretty loud sometimes, but it really is a minor inconvenience. I've heard as many as one in three people have it chronically and nearly everyone gets it at some stage or another.

Thank you. Just hearing that has helped me.

I get this occassionally too, usually more after I have a bad bout of anxiety.
