seperation anxiety

I have for the past few years am having horrible anxiety and panic if I think my husband is going to be very far from me,even in stores if I'm alone and I can't find him..

I don't have this with an adult but I sure do with my kids. If I lose sight of them for a second I freak out and think I'll never see them again.

I have experienced this but to a lesser degree. Sometimes if I have spent a lot of time with my fiancé and he then goes to work I start to panic because he won't be there. I think with me part of it is that if something bad happens I know he can help, or deal with it and I don't know if I can deal with it on my own. Does it get any easier the longer you are apart? with me, once I am on my own after 30minutes or so I calm down, usually because I busy my mind with something else.
