Hi All,
Been dealing with health anxiety over the past few months. My intro thread is here (and long!): http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=158343
Have any of you had these feelings? As best as I can describe them:
-Slight sunken feeling in heart/chest for a very brief moment
-Slight sudden gasp for air
-Feeling of a slight adrenaline rush, eyes widen, deep breath or two
-Heart might beat a few beats faster -- I went from ~74-89 and then back down again. I measured with a CMS50D+ pulse oxygen sensor I have been using to track sleep apnea-type symptoms.
These feelings used to scare me, and now I'm getting quite used to them. I average 1-2 a day.
Edit: I do need to mention they seem to only occur when I have slightly bad posture. My last one occurred about 10 minutes ago, was leaning with my arm on the desk and slouched forward looking at my screen.
I do have GERD/a hiatal hernia, and I'm sure that has something to do with it.
