In light of the Death of Robin Williams I just thought I would remind people about a few things to the forum.

I would like to bring your attention again to the list of useful numbers we have here on NMP...

http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38701

(http://www.nomorepanic.co.uk/showthread.php?t=38701)This includes the number for the Samaritans which is 08457 90 90 90

or you can email them on jo@samaritans.org (jo@samaritans.org)

As we know Anxiety, panic and depression are incredibly hard illnesses to deal with so please contact them or other such organisations if you feel you need desperate help.

Although NMP is a Support site, just a reminder that we are not equipped to deal with the topic of suicide and because if this we monitor and moderate any threads and posts that are made that are on such topics…. Although some may slip through the net, so we appreciate you ‘reporting’ a thread if you feel it isn’t suitable for the forum.

So please be aware that if you do make a post which contains the word ‘suicide’ or other words related them it may be subject to moderation and will not be posted on the forum straight away…. The Admin team will review it as soon as they can and it will either be posted on the forum or a PM will be sent to you telling you why we are not allowing the post.

We appreciate your understanding on this matter.

http://www.suicidepreventionlifeline.org/ also is a good website with a place where you can chat online with a counselor too, as I know some people have fears of using the phone or get anxious calling.

I think one of the biggest things we all can learn from this very sad death is Drinking/Depression respects nobody,Monied or Poor.

I would echo the samaritans i found them very helpful about two months ago.

Ever since my 2nd detox i have been absolutely determined to stay off drink now forever, and my depression has lifted am on citalopram which is working .

Remember if determined you can do it for yourself.
