just found out im pregnant..now paniky

I havnt really been paniky for around a year now...but last week I found out im pregnant. To top it off I also have a bad cold. Ive been to the drs over the last few weeks and has checked me over. Apparently chest is clear etc...but I have a mild temp and a slighty raised heartbeat. My dr puts this down to being pregnant...am I going to be okay. Is this normal??

First off, congratulations! Yes this is normal. I had a cold on and off when I was expecting my daughter. Sometimes you produce more mucus when you are pregnant.

Congratulations! Totally normal. I remember having cold type symptoms in the week leading up to me finding out I was pregnant.

Also very normal to have a slightly raised temperature and faster heartbeat, think of all the extra work your body is having to do to grow a baby!

Totally normal. Im 23 weeks now and I get bad heart palps, but its normal in pregnancy as your heart has to work a little harder :) xx
