I'm 49 Been having some bowel issues went to toilet this morning and after BM I saw a tiny bit of red blood in the bowl I have gas all the time also anaemic I'm shaking I'm so scared

Are you sure it was blood? I have freaked out myself after eating tomatoes or red peppers.

I have done that too... and the most common cause of blood in the stool is hemorrhoids. So many people have them, they are usually painless (as most of them are internal, some are external) and can cause bright red blood to show up.

I know its hard but try to relax, I really have done the exact same thing.
