Headaches

I just keep getting constant headaches for about a week.
When I stand or move my head the base of my head seems to go into a painful spasm
Could this be stress, worried again !
Has anyone had this ..

It sounds very much like a stress headache. I used to get this quite often until my doctor put me on beta blockers.

I agree it sounds like stress headaches I've had them last as long as two weeks.

My nan passed away a couple of weeks ago and the headaches started after.
It's difficult to be in pain all the time.
I get so many symptoms with anxiety , so always worried.

Headache spasms really bad, ok if I don't move my head!
Took bp yesterday, about 150/90, not great but surely not high enough to cause these headaches.
Can anyone help. Scared ..

Maybe you have a pinched nerve? I think your blood pressure is a little high because of stress. Perhaps give your doctor a call.

Trying to stay calm, head hurts when I move, trying to believe it's probably muscular and that bp would have to be much higher to cause headaches.
Stomach also playing up today on right side, thinking gallstones! Due to have scan on Monday.
Can anyone else advise on headaches..

Head and neck spasms really bad today.
Going to Drs on the 9th Sept, but really worried it's something serious.

When you said "base of your head," I immediately thought pinched nerve. You also mentioned your blood pressure, there are actual headaches that are caused by high blood pressure which my mother dealt with for a little bit. I'm positive that you're fine, :)
