8 years on Effexor losing effect?

Started Effexor 8 years ago, after Zoloft quit working. Went from 150 to 225 three years ago. Now feeling depressed, unmotivated. Tried 300 felt better emotionally, but didn't like how my head felt achy, dizzy. Anyone out there been in this place??

Yes,me!
I had been a long time on Ven,and dispite it being raised,it had just 'pooped out' on me.
My psyche then added Mirtazapine, first 15,then 30,and it was as though a light switch had been turned on in my brain.
This combo is aka 'Californian Rocket Fuel,and has had good results where others have failed.
I continue to be on it,although the Mirt level has since gone down to 30,and my depression has not returned.
