I'm on day 5. 10 mg starting off, 20 mg after a week.

1.) The worst side effects I have is imsomnia and slight blurry vision(only noticable when Im reading or on the computer). The imsomnia has been very hard on me since Im a bodybuilder and I work alot. Will this go away eventually?

2.) One of my passions in life is trying out new beer imports a couple times a week. Can I still drink a couple beers a couple times a week? I dont want to stop that as its something me and my friends have been doing a long time together.

3.) Is citalopram a forever kind of thing or can I stop it after I feel better in a couple monthes?

4.) I'm only on day 5, if I wanted to change my mind and not take it, as the insomnia may be too much for me, can I just stop taking it. like will there be any withdrawels symptoms after only taking for a few days?

5.) I guess the final question is.. is it worth it?

Thank you guys.

Hello

From my experience

My worst side effect currently is general increased anxiety creeping up at different times making me feel panicky sweaty scared etc, an yeah jus an hour ago I've noticed my eye sight seems a little blurry at times but as I've had citalopram before I don't recall it been a problem so yes it does go away

2nd I tend to have bad side effects with drink an citalopram so I don't drink at all really maybe after 4-5month an jus a little but you still get some unpleasant side effects days later

3rd citalopram is usually a short term course mine was 6month

4th I actually stopped cold turkey after 6month on them without help from a doctor like an idiot I had around a week or two of unpleasant side effects/withdrawal after 5 days you could argue there still just the side effects as opposed to withdrawal but I would imagine you would feel one thing or another

An 5th, I felt very well an stress free anxiety free! Last time I recall after around 2 week an it kept on getting better so yes extremely worth it! :D just can't wait to get to tat stage yet as I'm only on day 3 of returning to them
