A couple if years back I took a couple paracetamol to relieve a mild pain I had and within 10 mins of taking had a burning sensation in my stomach just below breastbone area, and felt sick. After about half hour it passed. I put it down to an intolerance to a cheap batch that I had bought as I'd never had a problem with paracetamol in the past. I went back to using a caplet/capsule type tablet. I've had cause to take paracetamol again recently and experienced the same thing even though it was a capsule this time. This week i was suffering with a headache for 2 days after returning from a flight/holiday, I needed to alternate paracetamol and then Ibuprofen (the ibuprofen doesn't cause me any problems). Therefore, I tried using my kids paracetamol oral solution instead and that was perfectly fine. Therefore I'm wondering if it's an intolerance to the coatings on the paraetamol tablets???? Anyone else experienced this?
