Ok me in a nutshell (or atleast the bits of me that made me find this site).
Traumatising childhood - grew up being taught to fear "outsiders" by my parents and learned to fear my parents without anyone telling me I needed to.
I left there when I was 17 - however it seems the damage was done and I have been attempting to live with it as functionally as possible ever since. I have social anxiety and emetophobia, depression and mood swings. Ive been on 200mg sertraline for around 7 years now and after a "crisis" (as they call it) recently I am adding mirtazapine tomorrow -7,5mg to start with- to the sertraline (which thanks to the damn emetophobia Im scared of). And am in therapy.
I have a 5yr old son I adore, I'm a big fan of coffee and cookies and generally just a bit batty (and I like bats :p ).
