hi

Does anybody get a headache that starts at the start of their period and does not go away until about the 2nd or 3rd day of their period.

This has been happening for the last 3 or 4 months. I am 48 and think im probably peri menapausal.

Also getting lots of eptopic beats!!!!!!!

I get headaches as part of pmt. they can be like migraines. It's definitely my hormones as I don't get these headaches any other time. I take Menopace to try and stabilise my hormones. Been on them quite a while & I believe they help. Other things that help are cutting caffeine out of my diet entirely. That was an important choice as while I quit I had the worst headache ever but caffeine definitely can give me headaches and other pmt (or menopausal) symptoms (or aggravate them).
Also I suggest trying to limit salt intake, don't know about you but Pmt causes me to want to "pig out". Often this results in me eating things high in salt like crisps.
Exercise helps me inordinately. Also as healthy a diet as I can manage.
Saying all this I am no angel and till give in to cravings..... But the things I suggest have helped me.
Oh and asking sure you drink plenty of water too :-)
